{Infertility} Huntsville Alabama couples photographer

Amanda and Dave are sweet friends we met in Fort Worth, Texas. Amanda has always been a strong fan of my work, and made my daughter’s first birthday cake!
This session is quite different than any other I have done…here is why….

Amanda was told at the age of 18 she would not be able to have children, as she said, “that’s not what an 18 year old wants to hear”. I was not even aware her and David were going through this until about 2 months ago. My heart completely dropped for them and not knowing what it feels like to not have children, I wanted to give them some sort of joy…something fun. I told Amanda I wanted to do a session for free, and she was blown away. I asked if I could tie in what they were battling with, and she couldn’t of agreed more.
I began planning…. I asker her:
which words stand out to you?

My heart aches for you

She said…. “ALL, just depends on the day. Every day I mourn for the child I may never meet, and yet i still have hope for the joys that are to come. While at the same time I envy those families around me who are able to experience what I may never know.”
Praise the Lord Amanda and David serve a Mighty God that has a plan for them….scriptures she clings to when being attacked are:

Psalm 30:5 “…crying may come in the night, but joy comes in the morning” and 34:8 “Taste and see that the Lord is good”

John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

I ask you continue to keep Amanda and David in your prayers as they have been getting shots and going to the dr. a lot in hopes of becoming pregnant. We probably all know someone who is or has dealt with infertility…take this time to pray for those hurting and who desire to be a mother and father.

I planned the session to be fun, then we took some time to pray, and ended with shots that I think truly represent their personality.

Bless them! I lost my baby girl due to complications and they also told me I may not be able to have any more. I feel this. What a meaningful and fun shoot you did for them!ReplyCancel

This was a great shoot Anna! I have friends that were also battling with this and just had twins thanks to fertility treatments. They were delivered at 30 weeks (2 weeks ago) and still have a battle ahead of them but through all the trials their strength is amazing!

I hope and pray for Amanda and Dave on their journey!ReplyCancel

What a blessing this photoshoot was for all who are having trouble getting pregnant knowing that they are thought of and being prayed for as they wait on the Lord’s timing.ReplyCancel
