New York Wedding!

A New York Wedding, a dream come true….

When my lovely friend from Fort Worth, Tx…Kassie Moore asked me to shoot this wedding with her, I said with no hesitation, yes!!!

As time got closer, I did start getting nervous, as it would be my first time away from my baby boy who is 9 months old. But, he was in good hands with Nana and daddy. 🙂 Big sister took care of him as well. Making sure he did not play with too small of toys and wouldn’t choke. 😉

But, onto this glorious wedding! It was a dream come true. The venue sat on top of hill overlooking the water, and in the distance you could see downtown New York. The sunset was insane that night. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day, I thought since I was going to New York in December I would freeze! But, we lucked out and it was in the mid 50’s all weekend.

The groom, grooms father, and brides father all served and still serve our country. There were a lot of men in suits, looking sharp! The swordsmen were my fav though. 🙂 So, the venue took place on a navy pier, which made for many photo props…yep, photographers heaven. I could shoot multiple weddings there, and not shoot a couple the same way many times.

I hope you enjoy their day as my images unfold their beautiful story…..

Her gift from her groom

Love the moms expression in the back, and the brides face is timeless….yes, he made them their first stockings. 😉
